Company Description

Rather than soaring through the skies, the company (dba Aircraft Service International Group, or "ASIG") offers flight support services to commercial planes on the ground. It provides refueling, as well as ground handling services, including baggage and cargo handling and transfer, cabin and lounge cleaning, and other related services. Technical services include de-icing and jetway maintenance. ASIG operates at about 70 airports worldwide, primarily in the US and the UK, but also in Europe, Central America, and Asia/Pacific. Sister company Signature Flight Support serves the general aviation community as a leading fixed-base operator (FBO). ASIG was founded in 1947 and acquired by UK-based BBA Aviation in 2001.
