Company Description

One of the leading furniture rental and rent-to-own companies in the US (behind industry leader Rent-A-Center), Aaron's purveys home furnishings, electronics, computers, and appliances through more than 1,860 eponymous stores in the US and Canada. Its Woodhaven Furniture (formerly MacTavish Furniture) Industries unit makes most of the firm's furniture and bedding at a dozen plants in the US. In addition, Aaron's leases tires, rims, and wheels through its RIMCO chain of more than 15 locations. Founded in 1955, the firm changed its name from Aaron Rents to Aaron's in 2009.
