Odwalla Company Description
It isn't odd to drink beverages made from fresh fruits and vegetables, it's Od -- as in Odwalla (pronounced, Oh-DWA-la). The company's juice beverages, known for their colorful packaging, carry equally colorful names, including C Monster, Mojito Mombo, Red Rhapsody, and Wholly Grain! Keenly aware of food trends, it periodically introduces beverages that are popular with foodies. Its offerings include Pomagrand (the hot new tropical fruit) and Protein Monster (for all of us multi-taskers who don't have time to sit down for a meal). Odwalla also makes nutritional bars, and soy-based drinks, including organic soy milk. Coke purchased Odwalla in 2001 and integrated it into its Coca-Cola North America operations.
