The company manages waste disposal contracts for customers with multiple locations, specializing in the hotel, restaurant, retail, and property management industries. On behalf of its customers, OAKLEAF installs trash compactors to reduce the volume of waste and arranges for waste collection and recycling services. The company oversees waste disposal services through a network of 4,800 OAKLEAF-certified trash haulers at more than 100,000 customer locations in the US and Canada. In 2007 private equity firm Charterhouse Group sold its majority stake in OAKLEAF to New Mountain Capital for $655 million.
