The development-stage company has designed a proprietary method to manufacture a blend of diesel and ethanol, creating a more environmentally friendly fuel that gives up nothing in power and performance. O2Diesel is targeting markets in North and South America. The emission-reduction technology was developed by AAE Technologies, which O2Diesel bought in 2003. Ethanol maker Abengoa Bioenergy owns more than 10% of the company and offers commercial support in developing the European market for O2Diesel's product.
