Overview
Northwest Pipe's compass points in more than one direction. The company makes welded-steel water transmission lines that are used to form the circulatory systems of water suppliers. Its transmission pipes, some large enough to walk through, are made to transport water under pressure and are sold to government agencies and water districts. Northwest Pipe also manufactures tubular products with diameters of one-half inch to 16 inches for construction, agriculture, and energy purposes, as well as for water well casings, traffic signpost systems, and mechanical tubing.
