The company has offices in Chicago, New York, and in Mexico. Nippon Steel U.S.A.'s 50/50 joint venture with Luxembourg-based ArcelorMittal (known as I/N Kote) annually produces about one-half million tons of steel sheet metal used in the automotive industry. Nippon Steel U.S.A. is a subsidiary of one of the world's largest steelmakers, Nippon Steel Corporation.
