Beijing Olympics boosts Chinese web portals' Q2 ads revenue [Xinhua Economic News]

The Beijing Olympic Games is believed to promote the performance of the four leading web portals in China, which recorded high revenue from advertising in Q2 of 2008. According to a report of Xinhua-run China Securities Journal, Sina.com led its peers with its Q2 advertising revenue reaching 64.9 million US dollars, up 35 percent quarter on quarter.
