Overview
Nara Bancorp is the holding company for state-chartered Nara Bank, which serves consumers and small to midsized minority-owned businesses through about 20 branches in Korean-American communities in California and the New York metropolitan area. It also has eight loan production offices in California, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, Texas, and Virginia. Commercial real estate loans make up more than two-thirds of the company's loan portfolio. The bank also provides Small Business Administration (SBA) loans and international trade financing. It discontinued offering auto and home equity loans.
