Overview
MonierLifetile is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete roofing tiles in the US. The company serves the residential building market, offering a variety of tile colors and tile accessories through its 14 plants in the US and Mexico. A new $37 million plant in Florida was opened in 2007. The expansion is in response to residential growth in Florida and nearby markets. Most of MonierLifetile's business comes from its Website, with some 97% of sales generated online. Formed by the combination of Monier and Boral Lifetile in 1997, MonierLifetile is a joint venture between PAI Partners' Monier and Boral. Lafarge (a former partner in the business) sold a majority of its roofing division in 2007.
