The company manufactures more than 2,000 kinds of standard integrated circuits (ICs); its lineup includes high-performance analog, digital, and mixed-signal ICs used primarily for power management in computers, networking equipment, industrial electronics, and wireless phones and other telecommunications gear. The company also designs and manufactures custom integrated circuits and provides chip manufacturing services for commercial and military customers that use Micrel-produced ICs in communications systems and transport aircraft.
