Miami Dolphins Company Description
While a communally-minded aquatic mammal hardly seems like a fierce mascot, this company competes in one of the roughest sports. Dolphins Enterprises owns and operates the Miami Dolphins professional football team, which has won two Super Bowl championships (its last coming at the end of the 1973 season) and lays claim to the only undefeated season by an NFL team (in 1972). The franchise has not lacked for opportunities, with five conference titles and numerous playoff appearances. Its roster has included such Hall of Fame players as Larry Csonka, Bob Griese, and Dan Marino. The franchise was founded in 1965 by lawyer Joe Robbie. Wayne Huizenga co-owns owns the team with businessman Stephen Ross.
