Masonite Company Description
Masonite International hopes that when opportunity comes a-knocking, it does so on one of its doors. The company makes interior and exterior doors and door components for residential and commercial use; its products are distributed through retail and wholesale centers around the world. Masonite sells more than 50 million doors per year, mostly wooden interior doors. It also makes metal and fiberglass products. The company has about 60 manufacturing plants in 18 countries. Masonite International emerged from bankruptcy in 2009, less than three months after filing for Chapter 11.
