Overview
Where are we? MapQuest's products and services are geared for people who are going places. The company supplies maps and proximity information to consumers through its Web site, and also offers services to businesses and to travel guides and map publishers. It also publishes road atlases, books, and laminated street maps. MapQuest's content can be downloaded to wireless devices made by such providers as Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T. MapQuest reaches more than 40 million visitors per month. MapQuest is a subsidiary of AOL, which spun off from media giant Time Warner in 2009. Today it operates as part of AOL's Huffington Post Media Group.
