Overview
Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS) lives up to its name. The company is the largest telecommunications carrier in the Canadian province of Manitoba, and one of the largest telecom providers in Canada as a whole. MTS provides local and long-distance phone services, digital television service, Internet protocol (IP) connectivity, Internet access, and wireless services. MTS expanded its reach when it acquired Allstream; the company now markets its offerings as MTS Allstream in Manitoba and as Allstream in other Canadian provinces. MTS also provides security services through its AAA Alarm Systems subsidiary.
