Magellan Aerospace explores the frontiers of the commercial and defense aerospace markets. The company makes airplane and aerospace components and systems through subsidiaries based in Canada and the US. A short list of Magellan's products includes high-altitude research rockets; solid rocket fuel propellant motors; and precision components for jet aircraft, the space shuttle, and missiles. Major customers have included Boeing (nearly 15% of sales), Airbus, Lockheed Martin, the US and Canadian air forces, and NASA. Commercial customers account for about two-thirds of sales.
