LUKOIL Company Description
Most Russians look to LUKOIL for their oil and gas needs. Russia's #1 integrated oil company produces, refines, and sells oil and oil products; it accounts for 19% of Russia's crude oil production. LUKOIL has proved reserves of more than 20 billion barrels of oil equivalent, the great majority of which is located in Russia. The company has operations in 60 regions in Russia and 30 other countries and owns seven refineries and a total of almost 6,100 gas stations (including 1,800 gas stations in the US). LUKOIL moved into the US by buying Getty Petroleum Marketing. ING Bank Eurasia controls just about 70% of the company.
