LucasArts Company Description
Not so long ago, in a galaxy not so far away, filmmaker George Lucas founded a software company to entertain audiences with something other than movies. Founded in 1982, LucasArts Entertainment produces interactive games for computers and home video game consoles. Much of that source material is, of course, the Star Wars films created by the company's owner, George Lucas. LucasArts has more Star Wars games than you can shake a lightsaber at and it also produces games based on Lucasfilm's successful trilogy of Indiana Jones films, as well as other titles. LucasArts' games blend 3-D animation, interactive digital sound, live-action video, and visual effects.
