Longistics Company Description
Longistics offers logistics, trucking, and warehousing and distribution services in the continental US and Canada. The company provides freight transportation services not only with its own fleet but also through a network of contract carriers. In addition, Longistics manages an industrial park in its home base of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. Longistics is owned and run by chairman Duane Long and his wife, company president Patricia Long. Three Long family businesses were combined to form Longistics in 1998.
