Longistics Company Description
Longistics Transportation offers logistics, trucking, and warehousing and distribution services in the continental US and Canada. The company, which specializes in serving the pharmaceutical industry, provides freight transportation services not only with its own fleet but also through a network of contract carriers. In addition, Longistics manages an industrial park in its home base of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. Longistics is owned and run by Chairman Duane Long and his wife, Vice Chairman Patricia Long. Three Long family businesses were combined to form Longistics in 1998.
