The company's network, which is managed and operated by KeySpan, consists of nearly 14,000 miles of overhead and underground lines. LIPA offers energy conservation products and services, as well as incentive programs to encourage customers to purchase energy from "green" (environmentally friendly) power generation sources. LIPA is a municipally owned, not-for-profit utility company.
