Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon owns and operates more than 140 steakhouse restaurants offering mesquite-grilled steaks, ribs, chicken, and fish dishes. The casual dining spots, found in more than 30 states, are punctuated by Texas paraphernalia, neon beer signs, and country music. The company also runs the Texas Land & Cattle Steak House chain, which has about 30 locations in Texas and five other states. Started in 1992, Lone Star Steakhouse is owned by Dallas-based private equity firm Lone Star Funds.
