CIGNA, the parent company of Life Insurance Company of North America (LINA), is sort of like the old woman who lived in a shoe. You know, she had so many children she didn't know what to do? LINA was formed in 1956 by Insurance Company of North America (INA), a CIGNA predecessor company.
