The company provides both full-time and part-time child care, educational and developmental programs, and workplace child care. Most of its more than 1,100 sites in the US (operated under brand names The Children's Courtyard, Childtime Learning Centers, La Petite Academy, Montessori Unlimited, and Tutor Time Child Care) are in suburban areas, but some centers are on or near company work sites. In 2008 the private equity arm of Morgan Stanley acquired a 60% stake in Learning Care Group from A.B.C. Learning Centres for about $420 million.
