Lafarge North America is knitting together a skein of concrete and related building products across the US and Canada. One of North America's largest building materials manufacturers, the company operates around 300 concrete plants, another 300 aggregates plants, and some 20 cement plants in the US and Canada (through Lafarge Canada). Lafarge North America's construction materials products include asphalt, gypsum wallboard, ready-mixed concrete, and concrete pipes and blocks. French building materials conglomerate Lafarge S.A. owns the company. Lafarge North America accounts for more than 25% of its parent's sales.
