Beer brands include Kirin Lager and Kirin Ichiban Shibori. In addition to its domestic beer production, the firm has stakes in several brewers serving international markets (Australia's Lion Nathan). The company also makes alcoholic fruit drink chu-hi, and owns about half of the Japanese wine producer Mercian Corporation. Kirin Holdings has other operations that market coffee drinks, mineral water, and tea drinks, as well as health supplements, pharmaceutical products, and food seasonings.
