Kingspan Company Description
Kingspan has given itself a raise -- the Irish company has become a top supplier of raised flooring for use in high-rise offices. Most of the building products manufacturer’s are attributable to such building components as steel frames, rigid building insulation, insulated cladding panels, and structural products. The company also makes environmental containers (oil, water, and septic tanks). Kingspan operates mainly in Europe, but also has facilities in Asia and the US. The company moved into the raised-floor business with several acquisitions in Europe and the US between 1999 and 2005. Co-founders Eugene (chairman) and Brendan Murtagh own about 25% of the company.
