KDDI is the #2 telecommunications company in Japan, behind leader NTT. The company provides more than 32 million mobile phone subscribers with wireless voice and mobile Internet services sold under the au brand. Additionally, more than 6 million home and business subscribers use the company's fixed-line services, which include broadband Internet (under the au one net brand) and computer telephony; KDDI also provides traditional international long-distance connection. The company provides cable television service through subsidiary Japan Cablenet (JCN).
