Kaleida Health tries to catch you if you fall somewhere in the Snow Belt. Operating five acute-care facilities with some 1,200 beds total, Kaleida Health serves the residents of western New York. The health system's hospitals are Buffalo General Hospital, The Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo, DeGraff Memorial Hospital, Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital, and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Primary care needs are met through a network of community and school-based clinics. Kaleida Health also operates four skilled nursing care facilities and provides home health care. To help train future medical professionals, Buffalo General Hospital is a teaching affiliate of the State University of New York.
