One of the world's leading construction firms, Kajima was among the first skyscraper builders in Japan and continues to develop earthquake-resistant technologies. The group operates as a general contractor-developer, providing a full array of engineering, design, development, and construction services. It builds skyscrapers, bridges, highways and railways, nuclear power plants, and other commercial and civil projects. Projects have included the Suez Canal Bridge in Egypt and the Nukui Dam in Hiroshima. Kajima has a presence in more than 20 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
