Walker elected as BOE president [Dominion Post (Morgantown, WV)](08 Jul 2008 04:00:00 EDT)Jul. 8--Nancy Walker was elected president of the Monongalia County Board of Education during Monday's meeting. Walker has been the board's president since 2001, and was unanimously chosen to serve as president for another two-year term. "Thank you all very much," Walker said. Board member Joe Statler was unanimously elected vice president of the board, which is a position he's held since 2006.
