Overview
Food, phones, and flying are only a part of the JG Summit empire. In addition to its consumer foods, wireless telecommunications, and passenger airline operations, the Philippine conglomerate has interests in textile mills, real estate development, petrochemicals, and banking and financial services. The company's Universal Robina subsidiary makes and sells a variety of consumer food products as well as animal feed and animal health products. Real estate subsidiary, Robinsons Land Corporation, develops commercial and residential properties and manages hotels. Its Cebu Pacific Air unit offers regional flights to China and surrounding countries.
