Overview

JELD-WEN can improve your outlook by providing new windows and doors for your home or by offering accommodations at a scenic resort. A leading manufacturer of windows and doors (some designed to withstand hurricane-force winds), JELD-WEN offers aluminum, vinyl, and wood windows; interior and exterior doors; garage doors; swinging and sliding patio doors; and door frames and moldings. The company operates more than 60 manufacturing and distribution sites and sells its products mainly in North America, Europe, and Australia. In 2011 Canadian private equity firm Onex announced it would invest more than $860 million in JELD-WEN and gain a nearly 60% stake in the company.
