Jayco's motto could be "have trailer, will travel." The company develops and manufactures its line of camping trailers, light-weight trailers, park and travel trailers, fifth-wheels, toy haulers, and motor homes and markets them through a network of about 300 authorized dealers in the US and Canada. It also makes and distributes aftermarket parts. Product brand names include Eagle, Greyhawk, Jay Feather, Jay Flight, Jay Series Sport, and Octane ZX. The company also offers roadside assistance through membership to its Customer First program. Chairman and CEO Wilbur Bontrager and his family own Jayco. His father, the late Lloyd Bontrager, founded the company in 1968 in two chicken houses and a barn.
