J.D. Irving Company Description

Although its roots are in forest products, J.D. Irving has really branched out. The company has more than half a dozen operating divisions, including one that continues to make such forest products as paper, pulp, lumber, and corrugated material for packaging. Its Irving Tissue unit makes consumer tissue rolls. Other divisions offer transportation and logistics services; retail and distribution services; shipbuilding; specialty printing; construction services and industrial equipment rental; and consumer products, such as diapers. Established in 1882, J.D. Irving has operations in Eastern Canada and the US. It serves customers in North America, South America, Europe, and the Caribbean.
