LinkedIn Corporation, which keeps business-minded users connected throughout the world, posted the biggest first-day gain of Q2 2011. The company's stock opened at $45 a share on the NYSE and finished the day 109% higher. Meanwhile, social media firm FriendFinder Networks Inc. may have needed a shoulder to cry on after debuting on the NASDAQ. Its offer price dropped 22% over the course of the first day, closing at nearly $8 per share.
