IOI Corporation has its hands in a variety of industries. The company is primarily engaged in palm oil production, which accounts for roughly half of its annual revenue. Its some 168,000 hectares in Malaysia are nearly all planted with oil palm. IOI also dabbles in real estate (IOI Properties, commercial and residential development); chemical production (IOI Oleochemical Industries, palm oil production and refining); specialty oils and fats; hotels; golf clubs; and landscaping. In addition to in Malaysia, the company has the manufacturing facilities in The Netherlands, the US, and Egypt.
