Overview
Inova Health System Foundation provides financial support and assistance to the Inova Health System, which operates about 10 not-for-profit community hospitals in Northern Virginia. It also supports home health services, heart care programs, clinical research and trials, emergency and trauma centers, and nurse training. To raise funds for the hospital system, the foundation organizes special events such as galas, golf tournaments, and silent auctions. Donors can also make contributions through the Inova Web site. The foundation takes in about $20 million in contributions each year.
