Companies in this industry sell liquefied petroleum gas, also referred to as bottle gas or LP gas. It may be propane, butane, butene, propene, or a mix of these produced during natural gas or crude oil refining. Primary uses include home heating and as a chemical production material; it is recently also used as a vehicle fuel.
