Industrial Services of America manages solid waste so its customers won't have to. The company's largest unit, Computerized Waste Systems (CWS), doesn't pick up trash but instead arranges waste disposal services for its commercial and industrial customers. CWS negotiates contracts with service providers and offers centralized billing and dispatching and invoice auditing services. Industrial Services of America's ISA Recycling unit handles ferrous and nonferrous metals and fiber products, and the company's Waste Equipment Sales & Service (WESSCO) unit sells, leases, and services waste handling and recycling equipment. Chairman and CEO Harry Kletter owns 37% of the company; his wife, Roberta, owns 10%.
