Overview
Impregilo is no mere impresario. With experience going back to 1906, the companies that make up the Impregilo group are among the world's leaders in constructing dams and hydroelectric plants, motorways and transportation infrastructure, and water systems. Impregilo is active in five continents and involved in airports and marine facilities, energy plants, hydraulic engineering, and railways, as well as in commercial, industrial, and medical buildings. It also has interests in motorway concessions. IGLI owns about 30% of the company after Gemina, controlled by the powerful Romiti family, sold IGLI its 12% stake.
