Icahn Enterprises has a can-do attitude when it comes to making money. The holding company has stakes in firms in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, food packaging, and household goods. Federal-Mogul makes automobile parts, while PSC Metals is one of the US's largest scrapyard operators. Another holding, Bayswater Development is a residential developer active in Florida, Massachusetts, and New York. Icahn Enterprises also owns WestPoint International, which makes bed, bath, and other home products. In 2010 the company acquired control of American Railcar Industries and Viskase from affiliates of billionaire corporate raider Carl Icahn, who owns around 93% of Icahn Enterprises.
