The Accent is on US sales for Hyundai Motor America. The subsidiary of Hyundai Motor distributes Hyundai cars and SUVs in the United States, serving more than 600 Hyundai dealers. The Hyundai Advantage, which includes a variety of warranties, covers all Hyundai cars sold in the US. Hyundai Motor Finance provides financing for car buyers and for dealer inventory. The company operates an engineering facility in Michigan as well as a proving grounds and a research and design center in California. It opened its first US Hyundai auto-assembly plant in 2005. The Alabama facility's maximum capacity will be 300,000 vehicles a year. Hyundai Motor America plans to increase its number of dealerships to 1,000 by 2010.
