Hunt Companies Company Description
When sailors, soldiers, and pilots come home to roost, some seek refuge in Hunt Companies' homes. Formerly Hunt Building Corporation, the firm is a design/build and construction management company that oversees the building of multifamily housing primarily for members of the US military. It typically converts old military housing into modern homes. It has completed projects in some 40 states, and in Puerto Rico and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Projects include building units at Camp Pendleton in California and Fort Lee in Virginia. Hunt also develops private commercial and residential properties. Hunt was founded in 1947 and is owned by chairman Woody Hunt and president Mike Hunt, descendants of founder Marion Hunt.
