A subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, Croatian Telekom is the largest provider of telecommunications services to the country. Most of its business comes from mobile and fixed telephony; data transmission, Internet, and international communications services make up the rest. Its subsidiary, T-Mobile Croatia, markets the group's wireless services to 98% of the republic's territory. Croatian Telekom was established in 1999 following the split of HTP - Croatian Post and Telecommunications. Deutsche Telekom controls 51% of the company.
