Buyers can choose from more than 50 floor plans and select such amenities as bay windows, vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, and skylights. Horton is a large producer of HUD code homes. The company's Horton Components unit produces decorative molding and Horton Iron Works, LLC makes I-beam frames for the company's homes. Another subsidiary makes trailers and haulers. Founder and CEO Nevils Horton Jr. owns the company.
