Overview
HomeServe serves many homes by supplying home emergency and repair services. The company provides repair service policies to residential customers (its members) through partners such as utilities, appliance manufacturers, and retail and home insurers. Its list of tradesmen includes bricklayers, electricians, glaziers, locksmiths, plumbers, and tree surgeons. In addition to repairs, it offers warranty service, maintenance, and emergency services for things like break-ins, frozen pipes, and gas leaks. Most of its sales come from the UK, but HomeServe also operates in Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, and the US. The company was founded in 1993 as a joint venture with South Staffordshire Water.
