Cooks in commercial kitchens would be lost without the products manufactured by Hobart. The company makes a variety of commercial food service equipment including mixers, fryers, food warmers, refrigerators (under the Traulsen brand), and dishwashers for the food service and retail industries. Baking equipment is sold under the Baxter brand. Hobart's retail products include ovens, ranges, toasters, and slicers sold to grocery stores and specialty shops. Its service unit provides installation, maintenance, and repair for all of its own equipment. As a a subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works, Hobart also will service the equipment of sister companies such as Vulcan.
