Overview
Grupo Herdez is one of Mexico's foremost prepared food companies. It distributes a wide array of more than 500 food and beverage products. Well known for its Herdez brand of canned salsa and Doña María mole, the company also offers canned fish (tuna and sardines) and meats. Its food products are sold in the Americas and in Europe. Herdez has a joint venture, MegaMex, with US-based Hormel Foods to sell Hormel products in Mexico and to bring more of Herdez's foods into the US. It also has an agreement with McCormick to distribute its seasonings, as well as with Barilla to distribute pasta.
