Harcros Chemicals Company Description
Harcros Chemicals is poised for organic growth. The company distributes its own line of organic specialty chemicals, as well as thousands of chemical products from other manufacturers (including BASF, DuPont, and Eastman). Harcros distributes throughout the US from 28 facilities, though it does concentrate its service east of the Rocky Mountains. The company's organics division manufactures antifoams, emulsifiers, phosphate esters, and surfactants for nearly every major industry, including aerospace, furniture, metal working, personal care, rubber, water treatment, and more. Formerly a division of British chemicals maker Elementis, Harcros was taken private in 2001 through a management-led buyout.
