Hahl Company Description
Fishermen, seamstresses, and landscapers are among those who can put Hahl's products to task. The company, the US subsidiary of Lenzing Plastics, makes extruded monofilaments, made from nylon, polyester, and other engineered resins, that have varied uses such as fishing line, lawn-trimmer line, and sewing thread. Lenzing acquired the company, formerly called Glassmaster, out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2007. Hahl will continue operating as a much-stripped down company, forgoing many of its former operations that included automation controls and composite materials.
